What is mobile sandblasting?
Mobile sandblasting is an on-site surface restoration process that uses specialized blasting equipment to safely remove paint, rust, coatings, contaminants, and buildup from a wide range of surfaces. Instead of transporting materials to a shop, our mobile systems allow us to bring the equipment directly to your location, reducing downtime and eliminating the need for disassembly or hauling.
At Appalachian Surface Restoration LLC, we use environmentally friendly abrasive media, including soda and other low-impact materials, that are designed to be safe for surrounding surfaces, people, and the environment. These abrasives are non-toxic, biodegradable, and produce minimal dust when compared to traditional blasting methods.
Because of this, mobile sandblasting is an effective and responsible solution for surface cleaning and preparation that does not rely on harsh chemicals, does not damage the underlying material, and can be safely used on everything from wood and masonry to metal and historic surfaces.
